Andie Csafordi — textile design

Andie Csafordi

Textile designer & sustainable fashion advocate based in Toronto

I'm a Toronto based designer working across textiles, fashion, and mixed media with a focus on sustainable and upcycled design. I love transforming discarded materials into pieces that are expressive, wearable, and built to last.

Currently working as a studio assistant at a boutique clothing shop curating quality design from around the world, while building my own practice in upcycled fashion and textile art.

Featured Project

EPICENE

Thesis Collection — OCAD University

A modular, gender-fluid fashion collection crafted entirely from upcycled and reclaimed textiles. Each garment features interchangeable components — snap-on sleeves, reversible panels, adjustable silhouettes — designed for continual personalization and longevity. The collection challenges fast fashion through circular design, celebrating the beauty of reuse and the transformative potential of discarded materials.
